JOB DESCRIPTION OF LJC/T M2M PRODUCT MANAGEMENT ENGINEER

1 OBJECTIVE
The objective of LJC/T M2M product management engineer is to accomplish the job set by LJC/T manager.
2 REPORTING LINE
The M2M product management engineer reports directly to the manager of LJC/T.
3 RESPONSIBILITIES
M2M product management engineer has the responsibility for the technical job assigned.
Analyse the job assigned and make the time schedule.
Monitor progress and report to LJC/T manager.
Perform team leader role for one or many special projects.
Guide and train another engineers.
Other duties as assigned by LJC/T manager.
4 AUTHORITY
Recommend technical solution.
Ask for proper working environment and resources for the job assigned.
Make technical decision on the project assigned.
5 MAIN TASKS
The tasks of the M2M product management engineer include participation in one or more of the following:
· Follow up on individual goals and objectives.
· Product development, including H/W or S/W design or test following the rule of teams and instructions of manager.
· Manage, plan and follow up of the work/tasks assigned to the individual and to provide estimates of the effort and duration required.
· Responsible to ensure quality of the deliverables (products, processes and services) from the job assigned.
· Participate in system studies and technical investigation (including activities with other Ericsson organizations and/or customers).
· Participate in technical co-ordination teams, when applicable.
· Attend technical seminars.
· Participate in pre-studies, ensuring transfer of applicable knowledge.
· Support sale and market team.
6 REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOB
· University graduate in science or engineering.
· 3 or more years of experience in relevant field.
· Well organised, flexible and professional.
· Effective written and oral communication skills.
